Within our mission to empower communities by planning and designing people- and planet-friendly sustainable development solutions, Dar is proud to announce that 100% of our Planning and Urban Design (PUD) and Landscape Architecture department staff—comprising 300 professionals across six global design offices—now have sustainable design accreditation, under either LEED, BREEAM or SITES programs.
Underscoring Dar’s unwavering commitment to sustainable design and environmental leadership, this achievement reflects the department’s deep integration of green building principles into thousands of projects worldwide, from urban regeneration to climate-resilient master plans. With every team member now certified, Dar ensures that sustainability is embedded at every level of planning and design.
“This is more than a credential—it’s a culture,” said Mustapha Madi, Director of Planning and Urban Design, and Landscape Architecture at Dar. “Our clients can trust that every project is guided by a team that speaks the language of sustainability fluently and consistently.”
Dar’s achievement aligns with the goals of the World Green Building Council (WGBC) Net Zero Buildings Commitment – which Dar has signed – and reinforces the firm’s role as a global leader in sustainable urbanism.
