The 29th issue of Dar Magazine – Intent, imagination, and impact – is now available online. The new issue spotlights some of Dar’s most ambitious new projects and ventures, from Egypt’s nationwide Haya Karema initiative to a series of new hospitals for mothers and children in Angola and a new strategic shipyard in Nigeria. In this issue, our bridge computational design experts outline their journey in developing automation tools that revolutionise and accelerate bridge and tunnel design. Our environment team reflects on how ESIAs can be reimagined into high-impact digital tools. And our planning and urban design team presents the new “First Come, First Served” framework for urban planning – an approach that can create the adaptive, thriving cities of tomorrow.

Our issue also features contributions from Sidara experts around the world. Currie & Brown explore Milan’s potential as the new European destination for data centres, Penspen discusses how hydrogen storage can ignite a renewable energy revolution in the United Arab Emirates, Introba spotlights adaptive reuse as a way to help cities do more with what they already have, and much more.

As ever, we hope you find the new issue insightful and entertaining.
